May 1st – October 30th, 2014
Thursdays, 11:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.
Although this winter seems to have no end, fresh fruit, vegetables, and baked goods will soon be available at the farmers’ market in Campus Square starting this year on May 1st. Located between New and Morton streets in South Bethlehem, the farmers’ market opens every Thursday from 11 am to 3 pm for the twelfth year in a row.
Reasonably priced, local produce is available at the market for Lehigh students, faculty, and staff and for the residents of south Bethlehem. The market also brings our community together by supporting local farmers and business owners within the Lehigh Valley. Live music from local artists including Billy Bauer and Dave Fry will play every week from 12-2 P.M., making it the perfect place to enjoy lunch made fresh by a local deli, a peach slushy from Bechdolt’s Orchards, a cupcake from M&B Fairview Farm, or a box of wild wine berries from Lettuce Alone Farm.
For your convenience, some vendors accept EBT and FMNP vouchers and there are metered parking spaces available in the Campus Square parking garage and along Morton and 4th streets. To stay updated with the latest news, like our facebook page.
If you know a musican who’d like to play music at the market, or a local farmer or business owner who’d like to be a vendor, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
